Culinary Arts Update
Welcome Back!!!
This week in all Culinary Art classes we will be delving into the basics of breakfast and especially the “Incredible Edible Egg. During this unit, all students will be challenged to prepare and present various egg dishes such as scrambled eggs, sunny-side up, over-easy, frittata, the French and American omelet, soft, medium, and hard-boiled eggs. In addition, we will end the egg unit with an Egg Fried Rice dish. All the students have been working collaboratively within small groups and are doing an impressive job. Also, practice makes perfect so, please have your student(s) prepare the dishes for you so they can showcase what they have learned, and it taste good too.
As a FYI, as we continue to build our culinary program, I am reaching out to our community for further support. If you wish to donate any new, used, slightly used, or any unused kitchen equipment such as, mixing bowls, food processors, kitchen aid machines, frying pans.
