What’s New in Culinary

 In uncategorized

Hello Roadrunners,

I want to express my deepest pride and gratitude to the students in the culinary club, as they were able to make over 200 macaroons which were shared at the San Tan Charter School Gala this past Saturday, April 9, 2022. I would also like to extend my gratitude to the administration, school community, and the Gilbert community for its selfless support of the culinary program here at San Tan Charter School.

As we look ahead, I wanted to inform the community that the culinary club will continue to offer breakfast sandwiches on Thursday as well as, we will begin offering some lunch items such as, hotdogs, nachos with cheese, and chili that may be purchased during individual lunches.

Lastly, tickets for the culinary club dinner on May 12th, 13th, and 14th (evening only) will end on Friday April 29th. These dinner seats are limited to the first 80 people per night, and will have a full menu to include fresh baked garlic bread, an appetizer, salad, entre, and dessert. The cost for the dinner is $25.00 per person. We hope to see you all there for dinner and then able to enjoy an incredible performance from our incredible performing arts department.

I am so grateful that our students have this opportunity to showcase their talents and passions of the culinary arts with our community members.

As always, we continue to welcome any donations to our culinary and/or Family & Consumer Sciences programs. Your support and donations will allow us to continue to build the program to where our students can venture into other aspects of culinary. If you are interested in donating or wish to be a guest presenter, please do not hesitate to contact me at eramos@santancharterschool.com.

Thank you for everything,
Mr. Ramos, M.Ed.
