What is New With Culinary and JROTC

 In uncategorized

Hello Roadrunners

This week our cadets continued their training with rifle drill manual and JROTC knowledge pertaining to management of personal stress. During this unit our cadets were able to share their personal ventures with stress and some volunteered to share strategies they have used to manage their stress. Also, to end the week, many of our cadets took time off of their personal lives to salute and honor veterans. On Friday, November 11th, many of our cadets participated in a flag raising at the Watermark in Morrison Ranch. They were also able to present the old colors to the oldest veteran present. This selfless act is a display of their commitment and dedication to our community.

In addition, STCS JROTC and its culinary program will participate in the Gilbert’s Day Parade on November 19th. This will be our first time a this event; however, we are looking forward to presenting the school community. Please come out and support us as we march on.

Also, as we are quickly approaching November 23rd which is the date for our school-wide Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. A SignUp Genius has been created for This annual event which will take place on Wednesday, November 23rd. This annual event has our Advanced Culinary students being challenged to cook for the whole school community and their families. As it has been a tradition at San Tan, we look to continue this tradition; however, we look for the support of our community to ensure this is a success. Please be advised that all ingredients must be on hand by November 18th, 2022. This will allow the culinary students to inventory all food items and make any necessary adjustments. The link to the SignUp Genius is as follows; however, if you wish to donate monetarily you may do so at the main office of the Power Campus School:
