JROTC Weekly Update

 In uncategorized

Hello Roadrunners

This past week our cadets have been working on physical conditioning (PT) , drill and ceremonies football game.(marching), and undergone their first uniform inspection (in PT uniform). We have also delved into other areas such as jargon, the wearing of uniforms, reading and understanding the 24 hour clock, values, ethics, and morals. In addition, many of our cadets have been taking on various leadership roles. This is so they are able to not only understand leadership but more so, how to take responsibility and accountability of those cadets they are in charge of.

Moving ahead, we will continue to work on jargon, alphabet, reading the 24 hour clock, leadership skills, and drill. We will also be introducing colors and color guard in preparation for our “performance” on September 9th, football game.

As a FYI, I will try to post our activities as much as possible on our schools/district Facebook page with photos and videos. So if you haven’t done so already, please follow us on Facebook.

Lastly, as always, we are very appreciative of the massive support that is always demonstrated by our San Tan community, and we are always accepting and appreciative of any donations the community provides. I have posted a link to the Glendale Parade Store on the San Tan Charter School FaceBook page. The link is for chevrons which our cadets will earn to wear. If you can please visit that page/website we will be looking for black chevrons, to go with the camouflage uniform.
