Weekly Update

Hello Roadrunners,

This week the students presented their position on topics given. These topics raised some interesting and at times participated in crucial conversations which led to understanding how one may be persuaded to rethink their original position simply by altering and presenting information in a manner that displays personal conviction. We were also able to have discussions which clarified the difference between city, federal, and school law allowing our students to better understand how laws may vary due to the needs of the establishment/community.

Moving ahead, our students will continue to present various positions while participating in debates. These debates will allow our students to go head to head on topics using professional decorum; after which, the audience will vote anonymously for their best presenter. I cannot wait to report on the outcome.
