These past few weeks have been filled with introduction kon various cooking styles and techniques, and the students have delved into the learning with great enthusiasm. We are now ending our week with the students preparing a mac & cheese dish, with their own fresh cheese sauce. Next week students will be introduced to conversions of weight and volume in preparation to baking where they will be challenged to create various baking items and adjust the “yield” to accommodate the need.
