Culinary I Weekly Update
Hello Roadrunners
These past two weeks we concentrated on the school/class norms and team building. This past week we worked on understanding culinary through learning the history of culinary. This process includes various activities to include a taste test, PowerPoint presents, and many small group activities.
Looking ahead into next week, we will begin our venture into the Hazardous Analysis Critical Points of culinary to delve into the biological and chemical contaminants. All this in preparation of the student’s Food Handler’s Certification. This certification will allow the student to have the opportunity to cook in class. With that being said, each student will be given every opportunity to pass the exam.
As a FYI, I will try to post our activities as much as possible on our schools/district Facebook page with photos and videos. So if you haven’t done so already, please follow us on Facebook.
Lastly, as usual, we are very appreciative of the massive support that is always demonstrated by our San Tan community, and we are always accepting and appreciative of any donations the community provides.
