Culinary I Update

Hello Roadrunners

This week our culinary I students entered the Principles of Cooking unit. This unit will concentrate on the various transfers of heat as well as, determining doneness. In addition, our culinary I students will support the Advanced culinary students in preparing for the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving

Also, as we are quickly approaching November 23rd which is the date for our school-wide Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. A SignUp Genius has been created for This annual event which will take place on Wednesday, November 23rd. This annual event has our Advanced Culinary students being challenged to cook for the whole school community and their families. As it has been a tradition at San Tan, we look to continue this tradition; however, we look for the support of our community to ensure this is a success. Please be advised that all ingredients must be on hand by November 18th, 2022. This will allow the culinary students to inventory all food items and make any necessary adjustments.
